Frequently asked questions
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Cancellations and rescheduling made within 24 hours are charged at full class rate.
Where are the group classes located?
Classes run at Vertex Altitude Training Gym at 41 Moorhouse Avenue, Christchurch. Fiona will also run private pilates sessions at other locations, including at offices. Call Fiona to chat further.
Is pilates safe when pregnant?
Yes Pilates is safe during pregnancy. We encourage our clients to attend a private session for an individual assessment prior to commencing group classes during pregnancy. This ensures that delivery and completion of exercises will be done in a safe and effective way.
Can I come to Pilates if I'm injured?
Yes. Pilates is often a key strategy for overcoming injuries! Fiona should be made aware of any current injuries. This allows modification of exercises to ensure you are exercising safely. You may want to consider a private session to cover your specific injury needs alongside your group class.
How many days a week should I do Pilates?
We recommend two days per week but three if you want to see faster results.
How do I pay for classes?
